The Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at California State University San Marcos accepts applications on an on-going basis for our pool of part-time lecturers. Applicant pools are used to fill short-term temporary Lecturer positions across our campus with the possibility of rehiring. Appointments may last from one day to a whole semester. College of Business Administration at California State University San Marcos seeks a part-time lecturer for Fall 2026 to teach a section of BUS 324: Introduction to Business Analytics. This course introduces business analytics concepts and tools that are used in various business functions. Consists of two distinct parts: predictive and prescriptive modeling/analytics. The predictive analytics section covers the use of statistical data in order to understand and solve business problems. Subjects include a review of descriptive statistics tools, hypothesis testing, ANOVA and simple/multiple regression analysis. Statistical data-mining models are also discussed. Prescriptive analytics section covers deterministic optimization models. Statistical software and spreadsheet optimization are introduced.

California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) invites applications for a non-renewable one-year visiting assistant professor of Biology to begin August 2026. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Molecular/Cellular Biology or a closely related field. The area of specialization is open, but preference will be given to candidates with expertise in neurobiology, including developmental, cellular, or molecular neuroscience and those that can teach our pre-health courses. Students engage in research-driven design processes, iterative development, critique, and craft-based production while strengthening professional workflows and presentation skills.
