The University Farm budget is developed and administered by the Farm Administrator; the role of this position is limited to coordination, analysis, reporting support, and advisory communication.
This position is responsible for administering several University Foundation budgets consisting of annual funds, endowment spending accounts, and multiple program and/or project budgets totaling approximately $1,000,000 annually. The incumbent works closely with the Dean, Associate Dean, Program Coordinator (PC), and Farm Administrator to align resources with the College’s strategic and operational goals and to ensure the college is compliant with Federal, State, System, and institutional policies and procedures for fiscal and personnel actions. This position is expected to take initiative, work independently, and be accountable for work results in planning, organizing, analyzing, and reporting. This position works collaboratively with managers and staff in the Divisions of Academic Affairs, Business and Finance, Information Technology, University Advancement, Student Affairs, as well as Professional and Continuing Education and Auxiliary Organizations to advance the interests of the College. |
